Custom Rotomolding

Custom Rotomolding is a low-pressure process that yields products which have no weld lines or sprue marks.  Custom Rotomolding, which is also known as Rotational Molding, is ideal for prototype to high volume requirements.  Tooling costs are typically less for Custom Rotomolding than they are for injection or blow molding and there is minimal waste or scrap.

Typical parts that can be created through Custom Rotomolding include:

  • Drums, barrels, containers, and tanks.
  • Tote boxes, parts bins, and cases.
  • Racks and office accessories.
  • Truck fenders and automotive parts.
  • Machine housings and consoles.
  • Recreational equipment and toys.
  • Lawn, garden, and playground furniture.
  • Buoys, floats, and marine products.
  • Point of purchase displays.
  • Ice, beverage, and food containers.
  • Agricultural feed bins and tubs.

Rotationally Molded Plastic materials that we use include linear polyethylenes, high density polyethylene, crosslinkable polyethylene, nylon, polypropylene, and PVC plastics. The advantages of Custom Rotomolding from New England Plastics are:
